HC Studio Concept
Both from Lisbon, trained as architects, Carlos Pastor and Helder Bochum are the faces of HC Studio Concept, an Interior Design brand, established in 2009 in the Algarve.
“We had noticed that in terms of contemporary decoration and design, there was a void in the Algarve and that is why we decided to establish HC Studio Concept InteriorDesign”.
“In a specific area like this one, the interior decoration has to be different from a home in Lisbon, Oporto or London, since the lifestyle is so ‘distinct’”, they argue.
In a 180 square metre showroom in Almancil, they exhibit internationally and nationally renowned brands, as well as pieces they have designed themselves, ”Every home offers a different challenge and we sometimes feel the need to create the odd tailor-made piece for a given space”.
Wanting to target a wider range of public with a more “casual” approach – in 2017 they opened two new shops, one in Tavira and one in Lagos: ALBA Interiors - is the look of this new project.
In February 2019 ALBA Interiors opened its doors in Lisbon.
